2000 Cobra 4.6 3V

My boss has a 2000 Mustang Cobra, motor blew and he swapped in a ford 4.6L 3V Mod. motor. (Same type out of the 2007 Mustang). We've been searching for a way to tune it, but came up short. He has to run the stock ECM and also a Ford Racing Control Pack ECM. Anyone know of some Mustang tuners that could give us some advice on how to tune this? Tired of using the whole mail order flash deal.

I would assume since the motor and ecu is completely different, he swapped the whole wiring harness and ecu. In that case that he could get a superchips or diablo sport handheld tuner for $400.

Why exactly did he not rebuild the 4V 4.6 and supercharge/turbo it? He could have stroked it to a 5.0l and swapped in a kennbell and made 700whp with 17psi on 91oct.....

Rebuild wasn't really an option. The way it smoked is hard to explain but he spun bearings and didn't know something went wrong until after the motor was completely seized.

He's using the stock cobra ECM for everything except engine functions. He's using the Ford Racing Control Pack for the engine. It's basically an ECM for a 2007+ Mustang but a lot of things coded out of it. So the SCT or diablo, doesn't really work for it. It does but doesn't. I want something kind of like EcuFlash to tune it. Something along those lines, because the mainstream stuff they have for the mustang is kind of weak IMO.

I really liked runnin' with the devil and modular powerhouse when I was into mustangs. They always seem to deliver some damn good results. James at RWTD is crazy busy all the time though. He managed to squeeze 425rwhp/459rwtq @ 9PSI out of my stock crappy sohc 4.6L 01 GT when I went single turbo....that was pretty good considering how a mustang will poop a rod and/or piston given any opportunity above 420whp.

I am interested in doing this swap in my 02 GT. How difficult is the swap? How expensive was it to do? Is there a site with info on doing the swap?
