hmm rebuild or fix the gs-t??

debating whether i should fix the current problem or just put another 6 bolt into the gs-t. a piston and ring in the one of the cylinders need to be replaced on a 6 bolt with 75xxx miles, or i can pay 2k for another 6 bolt.. i think the obvi answer to me wud be to fix the problem since im trying to just save for an evo, so i might just fix it up until then but anyone have any idea what the cost wud be to replace it. just wanted to get everyone elses opinion, thanks

I say just fix it. Then maybe sell it with it running? Cost is going to depend on if you have to pay a shop to fix it or if you are able to do it yourself. Good luck.
