IveyTune's NEW 2010 GTR PRoject!
2010 R35 GTR, Stock, NO HARD PARTS added. Started out stock at 430WHP and 424 WTQ, that is typically what the R35 will baseline on the dynojet.
The Cobb stage 1 produced 450-460 HP and 460 wheel tq, we are using the new v2 RPM based boost control, and it seems to work flawlessly at this level.
We then custom mapped the car with our own stage 1 map which after alot of manipulation and tweeking of the cam timing, ignition, and optimization of fuel mapping, we were able to end up over 500 wheel HP and 480+ wheel tq.
This all at a lowly boost level of 15 psi, we are happy with the outcome on such a conservative tune.
Here is a dyno sheet with 1 stock runs and 2 back to back Iveytune stage 1 runs with Cobb Protune.
The plans are to add certain other components, in an attempt to see where the real gains are. The HKS GT600 kit or AMS equivalent, combined with our custom tune for it is what comes to mind. Some of this has been done before but we are taking a unique approach.
We are going to do dropins from HKS or K&N to see where that gets us before the real buildup (Bigger turbos, Built Trans etc) begins.
