car wont start in winter

say if in winter a car have trouble starting up whats the cost is it? let say is a 2000 honda civic si

Probably the battery. If it gets half decently cold there, get a good battery, not the no name brand. That and/or a block heater if you don't have one already

You don't need a block heater in wisconsin.

Replace the battery, and learn how to use google.

Agreed with Pwr. You don't need a block heater. A new quality brand battery with high CCA will fix the issue. Keep in mind, that no matter what battery you use, if you leave a car sitting out overnight in very low temps, it's going to have to work a bit harder to start.
