I can't see the picture just red x's?

I'm considering the M3 as a purchase this spring, just wondering why did you choose it over cars like the Mercedes C63 AMG and new Audi S4?

Or did you happen to see a good deal and jumped on it?

A very good deal . C63 don't have the manual tranny and rs4 is too expensive for a bland looking car. Although I've tried searching rs4's, I can't seem to find one close to what I want.
Pics? I can view it just fine.

the new M3's are so sexy. If I had an evo to sell for an M3 I probably would

A bit heavy is an understatement.

That's not necessarily true... Not only are plenty of people happy with what they've moved on to regardless... But some people have moved up to the X (or in my case the STi) and now have much more refined street legal rally cars. The ONLY thing I miss about the Evo was that it was paid off... and that's probably 15k I'd have in my pocket by now... Though, I'd also have an Evo with nearly 100k miles on it.

Wow, your the first person I have ever heard going from and evo to a subaru. I always hear it the other way around. Myself included. Although I have had my eye on a 09 wrx but will be keeping my IX. Anyway, the new m3 is a beautiful car

Regret going from an evo to an E92 M3???? Coming from a IX with as much hp to the wheels as a M3 at the crank, ohlins, wheels, and everything you can throw a stick at I wouldn't regret it in a heartbeat. I went and drove and put it through its paces and sure it was slower and didn't handle as good but damn was it better at EVERYTHING else...and over 100 I still think I would lose even with 60+hp more. That thing starts to sing at about 120mph and I wasn't even driving a DCT. If everything goes as planned I hope to have a similiar thread by end of summer...beautiful car.

Edit: If I did have to complain it would be that 295ft lbs of torque isn't that much with a 3600lb car and it can be felt somewhat. But what I have seen a few bolt ons put these things at 400whp and 300wtq which is more than enough to have some fun. Hell a 7sp DCT will do damn near 200mph with those mods.

Beautiful choice. I went to an E46 M3 after having 2 evos, and love it. Of course I miss the power the evo had, but the M makes up for it in other ways. I'm looking forward to getting into an E92 M3 in the near future. Congrats.
