Mitsubishi.. Truck...?

If I remember correctly they used to have trucks a long long time ago (did they? eck..)

But I was talking to the local Mitsubishi dealership (whom I'm good friends with now... ) and I hear they are releasing a new truck model/line in 2005.

I'm guessing they are bringing the "Warrior" over here. The truck they sell in the UK. Or something like it? :\

Well, I guess it's goodbye to the Mitsubishi Car and SUV days... Hello Wagons and Trucks and probably vans too....

Hopefully they won't be dumb like nissan who made a truck and suv so big most dealerships had to install bigger doors and lifts to accommodate them lol

They sell the L200 (the trucks name) all over Europe. Believe it or not, it's the best-selling pick-up in Europe, and has been for several years.
Yes, will get a re-skinned V6 only version of the new Dodge Dakota pick-up for the U.S. only.

Mitsubishi sells the same thing in Australia. They call it the Triton.

Ha! I used to drive a 1984 Mighty Max P/U... It was my dad's old work truck that I drove for a couple years before getting my '94 S-10.

Dunno, I'd much rather see those around here than all these Fords and Chevy's.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the 2 door Pajeros Stateside.

EDIT: After looking at the pics of the Warrior, I think that would work well here. Mitsu could attract the same type of people looking for Avalances and other trucks of the same variety. Would be good to see a new take on the same ol' same ol', especially all the rehash material that has come out of Detroit.

Didn't I see a pickup (mitsubishi) posted somewhere that had the turbo engine (300+hp) from an Eclipse GSX or something to that effect.. I remember the Mighty Max, a friend of mine had one.

I like the way that truck looks. I would take it over a Tacoma, Tundra, or Frontier.
