Mazda with sex appeal

So, as many of the OT peeps know I just got the Mazda back from a month long overhaul from hell. So, here is the breakdown.....

First of all, I only intended to send the car in for a tune...well...then CP-e decided to do this whole "Winter Sale" thing and they did some serious marking down on their FMICs....so....what is a man to do!??!?! Needless to say, I bought the ****ing thing against my better judgement knowing I would need a new fuel pump, and anyone here that has had to deal with this turds knows the procedure. Anyway, turns out the fuel pressure took a ****, well no surprise there. Decided to order a PTP pump (SRT-4 Flux Capacitor), but the ****er seized and damn near caused a tear in the time-space continuim. Well, wasn't too happy about that one but fortunately PTP are good people and got me fixed up all proper like.....

Snap forward in time (because we hit well over 85mph, 86 to be exact) and we are suddenly faced with a POS Mazda that is pulling like some crazed 4WD sedan with a crazy wing on the back...

....Dyno time is very, very soon. Fortunately the COBB AP has paid off, but we're still running on factory boost at the moment on a K04 (ewwww). Plan on cranking the boost up just a few pounds to see what she's got. So, for you straight up car fanatics....I present....teh TWITCH.

Love it or hate it....

Have you spent enough yet to have bought an Evo yet

I do miss my FD sometimes though.

Actually, I'd love to have my old EVO back but it's just not in the cards right now and you missed my bling blingin front mount!

There are other things in the works, but in the mean time this will fill the gaps until a new toy comes into the picture. For the money I think this package is more suitable than an SRT, the interior is much nicer and the exterior is much nicer as well. Sure, it may not make as much power but it's enough for a DD.
