Celica All-tracs

There's 2 of them for sale around here and I might pick one up, since the mint turbo legacy got sold the day after I looked at it

I know all about the '92 alltrac that's for sale here

Pretty nice for just over $5k

but

There's an '88 Carlos Sainz edition too. I can't really find much info on that one, just the st185 generation one. Does anyone know anything about this version of the celica? I can't find crap on it, there was some stuff on google but no pics or specs.

all the info I have on it
1988 CELICA GT4, ALL TRAC TURBO, Carlos Sainz Rally Edition, 5 spd, new battery/turbo/tires, rally lights, sway bars, race ready from factory, very rare, 220HP, street legal, serious inq only, $5,500. obo

Those are really nice cars to drive-and fun I used to own a 92 all trac. That year was the rarest of that generation.

If you go to www.alltrac.net you'll find a TON of info for the car.

I wish I still had mine, but looking forward to gettin my EVO!!!

P.S. Here are the pics to my Trac:

Only get one if you are ready for a car that is a PITA. They are awesome cars, I would love to own another one.

I used to own a 92... Crashed it unfortunately. I had the CS/RC hood and bumpers with a FAT FMIC. Only problem with this car, it ALWAYS freakin leaked oil or had a problem. Leaked oil when I first got it. I had a shop do a full gasket replacement, timing belt, and all that. Year later, it leaked at the rear main seal. Got that fixed when I had a shop change the clutch since the motor was pulled. Few months later I blew the 5th and R gears out of my trans cover, possible clutch issue. I wasn't the only one who had that issue. After that, the car got some weird electrical problem and my HG ended up giving out. I dumped TONS of money into this car, more than I ever spent on the Evo.

I do miss it though. It got plenty of looks.
