Super fast shifts oh they those aren't impressive...

Handles just as good as heavily modified cars, nah that's not impressive either.

Stock engine making more power than manufacturer advertised, nope that's lame.

Car sucks I can find much better performing cars for 70k...

Yeah dude whatever, this car is bad ***.
Have to disagree here. Having faster shifting won't help as much when your going up against some VERY good drivers with a 120hp advantage and a few hundred pounds lighter. Even if the car is underrated I doubt it underrated by 120hp? I think it did pretty well considering the competition.

how many times did these drivers shift over the 3 laps?? it adds up - do the math.
now, considering that the diff in the final result times were off by a mere 200ms between 1st and 3rd place, its not hard to see how the R35 overcame its weight and power disadvantage.
the F1 trans still helps a lot. no human can match 200ms. whats the human record, about 400ms??

This is what I'm pretty much trying to say. That, despite the power a weight disadvantages, it was still able to run with heavily modified GT'Rs. You can see in the video that it had no problem keeping up when it came to braking or when in the corners, but as soon as they hit the straights it was game over. Faster shifting alone can't make up that power difference. Which is why I think it did a pretty good job holding its own out there.
