Question G35 poll

I know this is an evolution enthusiast board, but I was curious about all your opinions of the G35 coupe.

Also did anyone hear anything about the supercharger and/or tt that is supposed to have a warrenty on the engine. I don't think infiniti is backing the warrenty but whatever company is doing the sc/ turbo.

I hear the tt adds 85 hp to the wheels!!

Personally I like the sedan better. Nice looking cars though I must say. There is certainly a company doing SC's for the VQ35 (I think I have their card at home, but I can't think of the name offhand). They're out of Hackensack, NJ. At the Van Saun Park meet this summer they must have had about 8 SC'd Z's. I'm pretty sure it would be adaptable to or able to fit the G35 as well.

I've heard from a friend that owns a G35 that the brakes have some issues lasting very long. The solution: get the 6 speed and all is well. Most people have to resurface their rotors after 10k miles or so.

I LOVE THAT CAR!! 6 speed, sweet looking (a total babe magnet) and has its aggressive side also. you gotta get the coupe though i just dont have the same respect for the sedans. inline 6's are coolness.

Test drove a 6-sp sedan on my way to buy my evo. I liked the car more than I thought, it handled well, and the mechanicals are very smooth & buttery. I'm just a little too blue-collar for all that fine leather and the cutesy round clock (my wife loves it though).

The 6-speed coupe is one of the best looking cars on the road today imo. great lines, nice engine, I bet it would make an excellent car for LA to LV runs @ 120 mph with a couple of you buds....

I think the G35 coupe is beautiful, I just didn't like the interior. While the materials are better than the Evo, the layout just struck me as cheesy. Also, almost every single car on a dealer lot has a gang of unneeded options on it, boosting the price too much. It was on my short-list of cars when I bought the Evo (along with the TT, STi, new S4, R32, etc.). I am very happy with the Evo though.

yeah, its okay...but why did nissan have this car in their infiniti line-up? why not keep it nissan or even just kept the "skyline" name to it? i know the engine layout and specs are totally different from the "real skylines", but at least have it carry the name...(like in japan)! i just hope toyota won't put the new "supra" in their "lexus" line-up!!!

When did they start putting the 6-speeds in the sedans? I was under the impression the 6-speeds only came on the coupes.
