Mustangs?

I joined this website cause evo's are probably my favorite cars next to mustangs and I just wanted to learn a bit more about them and im curious to see what all the evo guys think about mustangs so I figured I'd share mine.
Its an 02 GT supercharged with a Vortech V2 and currently make 363RWHP and 370RWTQ, but its getting re tuned with a smaller pully and intercooler right now and im hoping for right around 400
Let me know what you all think!

Looks great. I really appreciate the sleeper look. No spoiler. Very low key exterior. Nice.

The only performance car I ever bought new was a Mustang GT. Loved it. Still miss it.

Only one very important suggestion. Your Mustang needs a drop. Bad.

Man ready for deep water.

Can't say I care for Mustangs............JK, lol
I obviously like them at least a little. I have to say that the Mustang has come a long way from a cheap to mod straight line performance machine to a good all around sports car. When people start testing the GT against the M3 and it does just as well around a track, you have arrived in the handling world. Nice car.

Thanks guys! Yeah, the next mods planned are a good drop and some other suspension mods.
And to Mr. Evo, I cant really get any good times at the track cause my 3rd gear syncros are all screwed.

I currently own an 02 Saleen clone with all bolt ons except supercharger and previously owned an 03 Evo. The Evo was insane in terms of performance. I gave it up because of the cost of ownership and the need to make other moves. The Mustang was difficult to get used to after the Evo but in many respects it's been more enjoyable to own. It's one of the most dependable cars i've ever owned. I have never had a problem with the car despite driving it daily and it having over 120k. The care handles well with Roush springs, anti sway bars, Bilstein shocks and struts, lower control arms and subframe connector. It still has a way to go to be on par with a stock Evo in terms of handling. All the same, I can do all the work on the car myself, no monthly payments and insurance is $47 per months. I still day dream about one day owning a used Evo IX or X but for now i will keep rocking the mustand and 99 prelude. I'm on this Evo forum more than the mustang forum. Plans for the mustang include a motor swap and more suspension work. There are lots of engine options for the car. Ford is currently selling the new 5.0 crate motor for about 6k, 4.6 3v and 5.4 motors can be had for a grand.
