I miss the old days a personal favorite is the 05 sti.... the new ones aren't as capable as the previous models

yeah RA 0-60 is 5.8 with those ****ty narrow tires... 2011 sti 5.5 is slow compare to X's 4.8 seconds

I'm sure the STI would be a much different beast after it was tuned though. It's no different than the way our Mitsubishis underperform with just the factory tune.

Edmunds did a full test on it, and it ended up being slower than the 2011 WRX in almost every category. Kind of sad, really.

I have to imagine Subaru is electronically limiting torque in 1st gear like Mazda does with the 3speed and Mitsubishi does with the Evo MR. It is a low cost way to increase reliability. It makes sense because these cars were not designed to be dragsters, they were built for the track where launches from a dead stop are rare.

We need a new testing spec thats a better indication of these car's performance like 30-100mph or 20-80mph.

The STI is more than a 0-60 number. Anyone can make a car go fast straight. I don't understand why everyone rags on it for being slow and not being any better than a WRX. Anyone who tracks their car can appreciate what the STI is and what it's capable of. Im glad the sedan is back .

Subie said it will be the fastest sti made we are expecting it will delivers from a STOCK form but sadly its a total disappointment compare to X....
