EVO 8 vs. Lambo

Well I was driving around on Sunday just cruising around tuning my car. It was late in the afternoon I would say like 3pm.

I was crusing down the 125 north. Ahead of me I see some car that looks really crazy. I punch and pull up next to him to check it out. It looks like a Lamborghini, but I think there is no way it could be real as I have never seen one on the street before. Upon closer inspection I realize it is a real Lambo and looks to be brand new. The guy driving it was a buff Italian guy in his late 20's. He was driving about 60mph or so as he had just gotten onto the freeway.

So I pull up next to him on the freeway give my car a little gas to let him know I am right there. He looks over and acts interested for sure. I am folloiwing his pace at this point. He then proceeds to punch it. I follow suit as I down shift to third. He lurches ahead of me and then I start reeling him in pretty bad. I shift to fourth and pull 2-3 car lengths on him. He is some what keeping up. Then I decides to let off and drops back. I instantly slow down and so he can catch back up. I want to see the look on his face. We are now he is going like 50mph so he won't have to pull up next to me.

Finally he catches up to me and gives me the thumbs up and smiles. He immediatley exits the freeway after that. He was a pretty cool guy about. I know I would be pissed if I bought a $250,000 dollar sports car and then got smoked by a little 2 liter Mitsubishi.

This is a just an example of the EVO 8 can do against the high dollar sports car in the world.

We do not endorse or condone racing on the street. It is very dangerous and can kill you

The turbo is feeling really good. We are getting full boost around 4500-4700rpm. Somewhere around there. The new turbo kit feels really good.

Once boost kicks in it's insane. Then we are just driving the car around it acts just like a stock car. It's the perfect daily driver for me.

since his car was new, maybe he was still breaking it in?

but it's always good to hear about evo's beating very high priced sports cars

Do you guys have the 3600$ dual bb kit in your car? That's pretty cool.

Yes, we have the $3600 dual ball bearing kit on the car currently. We will be testing all the kits in the near future.
