So after months of searching and careful planning, I finally found the right project car that wont break my bank. Being the father of 3 girls, a guy needs to have his domain and since I am outnumbered in my house, my garage is my domain. So anyways, I picked up a 1965 Chevy Impala (not SS), The car has a few rust issues which is typical, but all in all a pretty solid platform. The frame, rear quarters, floor pans, trunk pan, and roof are solid. I need to replace the front fenders, lower fender skirts and inside fender liner. Currently the motor that sits in there now sounds pretty tough but the engine size at this time is unknown. I will most likely start a restoration thread, but will be limited due to the diminishing funds in my bank....lol. Pics will be up next Saturday when I pick her up. She currently has bad brakes so unfortunately I have to tow her home.
