why i will never buy scion
besides the obvious reasons of not buying a tc even with their cool commercials, today this guy proceded to rev his engine next to me at a stop light. i ignored him and drove on. he had the stock exhaust yet had one of those mold/3m tape on hood vents on his hood that was actually a little crooked. i saw him later on at the sonic. and behold he was with his girlfriend who guess what?also drives a tc. i looked at them and
. what was even funnier is his g/f pulled her purse out to pay for the food. i wonder if she bought his car also. i mean its even lamer than wearing matching shirts or something. matching cars? lmfao the only car i would let mine match me in is an evo/ralliart. a tc? lmfao

tC's are tailored for the young crowd. Therefore it's not uncommon to see some ricey **** on em. Personally I wouldn't buy one but Toyota does a hell of a job providing aftermarket products for their line of cars that they actually warranty.

they also do a good job at marketing them. im only 20 and have had my ralliart since i was 19 so i guess i got out my ricer seen with my 07 k20/k24 accord i had before hand with a whopping 210whp lmao
edit: i dont race these guys on the road. they are the worst drivers of all. today i had some import face off fliers with me so i gave his girl one at the sonic right in front of him(her tc had a decent sounding exhaust&rims saw the inside it was stick, his was auto) should have seen his face

Hey now, I'm feeling a little offended here right now because my last car before my Ralliart was a Scion TC.....
However, I dropped a Turbonetics turbo kit in that baby, and with the stock 2.4L engine, I honestly would have smoked my current Ralliart from a roll, even with my existing mods and tune. The TC is 500lbs lighter than the Ralliart, and was putting out more hp and tq than my Ralliart is now, so the combination of lighter weight and more power made for some wicked acceleration.
Here's the problem though......the TC is front wheel drive and I was making so much power that unless I was already in motion, all I would ever do is sit there and spin the tires, because the wheels would lose traction from a dead stop with all that power and lack of a Limited Slip Differential. So, even though my Ralliart is a little slower compared to my TC, I'm much happier having the all wheel drive transmission that keeps the tires gripping the road whenever I go WOT.....

but that's what bothers me about the tC so much. Hardly a performance engine at all, just a smaller car with an engine made for a bigger one
there is a lot of value in it though, just the scion community ruined the image of it for me. So many are just hideous
Yep. Its the new foreign charger/magmum/300c car, everybodies got one. And I know what you mean about them revving at lights. They see my decals and immediately think its gonna go down. Perhaps its the small wing that makes them think we drive an es or gts model so they feel they are in the same league?
