I second that notion. I think each and every car company should have atleast 2-3sports cars to choose from. Not 15 SUV's that look exactly and the only difference being is the Size of the car.

So does anyone know exactly how SUV's and huge trucks get around the GG tax?

Doesn't make any sense to me? Make the bling bling Escalade owners pay!!!

The Big 3 basically have a "Gas" quota like for ALL vehicle they produce in one year, they have certain gas consumption quota. Then along with those Gas gulping SUV, they also produced small cars that does a lot better than those SUV like 30-35 mpg....then they kind of even out....

I read that somewhere, not sure if it's true or not....

yea, the manufactureres pay extra tax for that. i'm sure it reflects in our price for the cars.
i'm about 85% sure of that, cause i remember ford saying something about the expidition and it's copious gas consumption

What's up with the 6,600rpm redline seems a little low to me...what about the rpm for peak torque/power??? thx for posting thsoe specz
