C63 Project "DAILY DRIVER"
Yeah I like it but am a little disappointed with the final product. I actually sold the c63 and bought a trailblazer Ss for the wife to haul our munchkin around. I put tv's and a system in it. I am now looking at the ctsv's. You can put basic mods on it and make stupid power. I may have to side step the bs. I'm going to talk with mike at AWD about building one into a monster.
100% garbage is just my opionion. Black box with GPS voids warranty if the car gets close to a track. Mandatory inspection for track use. Brake job is $5K and must be done by the dealer. Its tiny. It breaks. And it is absolutely horrible looking. My Uncle's wife is a big shot at Nissan and I can grab that car mad cheap, just not interested in it. They've made the offer numerous times. The numbers are impressive as is the car, but that comes with a huge price tag and BS. Just not my cup of tea. Im also enjoying the BIG N/A V8's right now
Yeah I saw the released pics. And I'll be honest here as well. Im not impressed with it. Im very disappointed in the final product. There is hope though. They will be offering track accessories which could make it more appealing. And we need to see more pics. But the price point will be hard to justify against a GT3 in my opinion. I was praying for a 4 door. Starting to look like it isnt going to happen. Im swaying back to a standard 2012 4 door P031 C63. Im in no rush. I love my modded C63. Still havent been beaten and its quick enough Im not bored with it. I havent even had any time for track days anyways. I have a free training session with AMG at Laguna Seca and also a PBIR event. Just cant find the time
One more thing, dont get me wrong on the GTR. Its an impressive car. I just hate it when dealers play games with warranty work etc. And from what I am told Nissan has this car on lock down. And if Im buying basically a two seater/two door it will be a something like a GT3 or Gallardo. GT3 for its pure track presence and the Gallardo because its just sooo damn sexy. With a 19 mo son I really need four doors though. Its a dilemna and it sux, but its life
Plenty of time for 2 door/ 2 seater race cars later. I enjoy ridin out with my son. He loves it and its fun having him with me. It could be done in the GTR, but it is a tight fit. I actually considered it and went and looked it over. Mad tight in the back

i respect your opinion, but i think GTR and Porsche are the real tuneable Supercars.

If I wanted a pure track sports car I'd be in a gt3/gt3 Rs hands down. But the 2 seats is just a killer for me. The gtr just doesn't do anything for me. It performs great but that's about it. I want the gt3 Soooo bad but can't right now with my son being only 19 months old. So the ctsv is perfect. I love my AMG's but the mods are just stupid money. The mods for the CTSV are pretty cheap and the car makes big power. It also does quite well on a road course so I can enjoy it there as well. I"ll post some vids.

Here is the reason I need a four door
And he absolutely loves race cars and going everywhere with me. No way Im gonna leave him out. As soon as he can ride up front I will be buying a GT3. Until then I'll just have to make due with a bad *** 4 door...

Much better for long trips anyways.

Im not gonna lie. Life is so different now that he came into our lives. I had to make a ton of changes. I have now dedicated my life to getting healthy and making sure his life is perfect. I train 7 days a week and have lost 33#. I need to make sure I am around a long time and also need to be able to keep up. He use to run circles around me and now I make him work for it
haha... And I have to give props to Jarrod at Buschur for showing me the light. He is an inspriation for sure... So life is different and Im not complaining. There is no question Austin will be following in my footsteps and I just need to be patient.

Me not too long ago...

Now for the good stuff. Gotta try and thumbnail these vids. So give me a few minutes if they dont show. But I am loving the new LSA powered 2011 CTSV.

I am pretty impressed with the CTSV's numbers. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Some have even run in the 11's stock(I think on a dr???). But with simple bolts ons they are ruthless. Kooks headers, Kooks mid pipe, corsa sport exhaust, pulley kit, lid spacer for S/C, filter, cam and tune are the perfect combo. Here is a vid of a 600whp ctsv with very simple mods.

CTS-V are sick!! At the local tracks when im running the Evo theres a couple guys go up there with there Vs. Theres ones going 10.80s on a drag radial with a couple bolt ons. I wanna ride in one seeing how crazy they are.
Good Luck with yours Brian enjoy
