Lancer 04 Ralliart vs. Mazda 04 Mazda3
Lancer 04 Ralliart or the Mazda 04 Mazda3? Which one do you prefer? Some say Ralliart is the bomb while others say that Mazda3 worth more than a 17k car. What does the majority think? Give me some opinion.
The Mazda3 is worth more than 17k...oh trust me it's just awesome! Please go and test drive it, you will not be disappointed! The Ralliart looks nice, but the Mazda3 has better and more European styling to it...just go to a dealer and check it out!
Okay, here is what i think about Mazda. Most of the Mazda cars are crap (except for my favorite RX-7 and RX-8 models of course). The only reason i think the RX-7 and the RX-8 are nice because of the rotary engine they have and the nice stock turbo that gives off 238hp in a twin engine 1.3 (or 2.6) Litre. Thats damn nice.
But the Mazda 3 isnt bad. But i hate it when its fast but its a 4 door. Even Evos have 4 doors, what gives? But back to the main topic. Mazda 3's good point is that it is a DOHC, so its one cam per intake and exhaust. A pont for the Mazda3. But I dont really see the point of getting a Mazda 3. In where I live (vancouver, Canada) most of the people who are driving these Mazda 3's are like family people or fat ugly woman/man. I don't really want to drive a car that those types of people drives. I want something that is more "kids car" than like "graps car", you know?
Lancer is like a young kid car. With the "sporty" look and all, its good. But i must say Mazda 3 is also bang for the buck (also the fuel it uses is regular, which means easier on fuel money). Designs are okay, but I havent heard much from other companies making a lot for the Mazda3. Check if you can find anything bout the Mazda3 kits.
Canada, the Mazda3's are cheaper than 17k. At least for the cheapest model with nothing added. heres how much it cost for each model of Mazda3's
Mazda 3 Prices (in CDN):
GX $16,195
GS $17,695
GT $21,345
If you really want Mazda3, get the GT cuz the GS is just bs....

The Mini is the lightest beating the SVT Focus by 75 lbs. The Lancer is the heavieast at 3050lbs. The Mazda3 (new Focus) is a really sharp looking car, a mazda - good resale value - gets great gas mileage - is *FUN* to drive (go to a road circuit or autocross to understand this) - and not too expensive.
Jesse - the RX8 has no super charged aspiration of any kind.
Super charged aspiration means forced induction - whether by turbo charging, supercharging, or any other type of mechanical pressurization of the intake charge.

no super charger, but i think there was a turbo. Forgot cuz i get confuse with my friends RX-7 FC (infinity III). Cuz he got his turbo and stuff added so he got his 300hp car.

The RX8 is NA by the way no turbo.
I looked at and drove both cars yesterday, I prefered the Mazda over the Raliart. The interior was high quality in the 3 and the price factor option for option again favored the 3. The Raliart felt more powerful and handling was a wash. Tough call on this one you can't go wrong with either car.

probably a better comparision (you cant compare a manual 3, and a auto wagon lancer like mister did.)

Hey guys with the Lancers what do you think or know about the strength of your internals. Anyone have any luck getting some good power out of the stock 2.0 or 2.4 yet. Sorry but i havent kept up much
