looking for a daily driver, what to get?

Price I want between 13k-18k

Honda Civic
Nissan 350z
Lexus IS250 (high miles)

any other recommendations?

hell with that -- id find a nice 99-2000 ex.. fix it up and have less then HALF taht in it...

i have a 99 ex 5sp with 228,000 on it. gets 36mpg average.. and just a tad over 40 all highway

insurance is about 400 a year for full coverage... and parts are CHEAPPPPPPPPP... stupid cheap.

Honestly, the rsx has been a great daily if you don't need four doors. It's comfortable, peppy with a hair over 200hp, leather and automatic climate control and still able to get upwards of 30mpg when cruising and spins 8k rpms when thrashing.

I would say the civic or a mini cooper S turbo(07-)

My buddy did all sorts of mods on his Mini and gets 40-44MPG
He started with 38 mpg stock.
