Wow if it's close to $40k with 400hp, turbos, AWD, I will be highly swayed away from an is430 (if they bring that to production) for those reasons.

Wow looks nice I wondered why the Subie dealer I talked to said he didn't want an STI, said he was going to wait for the Legacy to come out.

I've seen that new Legacy they still called it the GT not STI, in a recent Magazine, same pic of the car, the specs for US claimed were,( 2.4L F-4 turbo, six-speed, 250 hp,) just slightly de-tuned from the STI, they said in Japan it makes around 280hp, but we won't be so lucky-

It is but we get the equal lenght manifolds and a few other JDM goddies this car will be easy to push up to 330ish with teh right mods and dont rule out a pumped up EJ25 in this thing in the for of a USDM B4 Blitzen or RSK

Where's Baltown when we need him?

Obviously in hiding since realizing even the Japanese don't get a 350-400bhp version and us American's we only get a 250!!

Great looking car but just mild on performance. I am scared about the e60 m5. 500hp is not to be reckoned with. Then again it will be about 3x times the price.

Based on my understanding, the new Legacy GTB and B4 in Japan are NOT twin turbo anymore. Subaru changed the EJ20 TT setup to a more Impreza Sti like EJ20 single (bigger turbo) for more aggressive power delivery.

If they use the existing EJ25 turbo from the USDM Sti on the Legacy and the power falls in the 250~280 range, a lot of people will line up for that.

That'd be boxer (like a pugilist), Boxster is the Porsche. Horizontally opposed is an even better word...kinda like a 180 degree V6 I'd really like to see sportier version of the Legacy in an NA trim H6 putting around...250'ish. Would be a comfortable and interesting ride. Sporty 6 cylinder sedans (CTS, IS are the top in my book) are awesome.

If you want to see some more pics of the new legacy, click here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ghlight=legacy

I was watching the "Best Motoring" video featuring the new Legacy. They put the new Legacy through a bunch of tests and race against the RS6 (OMFG 450 HP!!!), Toyota Cadina, Volvo V70 and some other wagons....the result???

MT Legacy won! Secon place (just lost by a bit) is the RS6....280hp Legacy outran 450hp RS6!!!
