Rust? I thought the main cause of rust "Here in the areas where we actually get snow" was the salt. If a climate is cool and dry how does it rust? (I'm not doubting just interested thats all)

 

The place is essentially one big beach. The salt water in the air will cause rust.

I didn't think there were any ferrous materials in an enzo...nothing rusts in the desert.

 

im sssssure they know exactly whose Enzo that is....they are sold to very prestigious people or people who have the money. and since it is the exclusivity of each one, im dumbfounded if they -Ferrari- doesnt 'track' sales.....it has to have a serial number....wouldnt you think???

I would think that you are right and it is well known the car is there. Ferrari doesn't like their cars to end up in conditions like this, i would say a major collector is probably in the process of trying to relocate it.

 

It not there anymore... someone already bought it... most of the car also...

 

I know where this is as I pass by it several times a week. I tried to go there last week with DSLR in tow, but I decided to make a complete U-turn once I saw a no photography sign next to the entrance.

I'm actually surprised to how those dudes were able to take snaps of them (some of the pictures look like DSLR shots and there were army soldiers present), I wish I could do it myself but I don't want to be arrested, jailed and have my camera confiscated

 

according to a my coworker , who's father knows people from Dubai, supposedly the reason these lambos, Ferrari, Nsx, etc are just driving to **** and when the cars supposedly **** up they dont care to get them fixed and suposedly just dump them or leave them on the streets. with not a care in the world....

My question is why hasnt anyone from over here tried picking up these cars and have them sent back ???? im sure someone could make a nice little fortune on these
