eclipse GS-T

hey all, i have a mitsu but dont really know **** about eclipses. i know the GSX is a turbo AWD one. the reason i post this is cause a dude that lives by me has an eclipse with a GS-T painted on the back. also i hear a blow off valve on it so it has to be turbo. im to assume that this is a regular front wheel drive eclipse that is turboed????? the only thing that makes me ask is that this dude has has numerous ricers in the past and it woulnt surprise me one bit if he put that loud *** blow off valve sounding thing that isnt really a BOV on a car that isnt turbo. that thing is loud as hell, whether its real or not. a lot of people around here have neons with those things on them. anyway let me know if the GS-T exists or do i have to go out and laugh at this guy. later

Only thing I know about it is that it has the same turbo from MS protege. I got the gs-t spyder and well its quick but not as quick as my evo.

Carphoto me and u have the same cars but I don't have a mustang. I have a 99 gs-t and silver evo, but mine is spyder.

You're not going to hear the wastegate unless your going full boost and it's dumping to the atmosphere. It's the BOV.

Stock is between 11- 12psi. Alot of people turn it up to around 15psi, with very few mods.
I had a 94 gs-t and a 99 gsx, I wish I never sold the gsx

GST is 11-12PSI Stock. but if he upgraded to the Big 16G and Got the whole LSD and 55cc injectors and 220lb fuel pump. You might have a good race on your hands. but stock the GST's run low 15's.. *****. my integra ran a mid 15 stock.

without a Lsd the front wheel drive turbo eclipse r **** off the launch.. AWD='s teh ownage. most FWD turbo Eclipse without LSD with a good driver spin through 1st gear almost EVERY time. but with the 16g and injectors and fuel pump u can put it to like 20lbs of boost and be runnin like 315 at the crank.

This is not true.how many times have you launched a GST. (you didnt even try to launch mine when you drove it )Everyone knows AWD have the advantage over FWD for launching. The trick to launching a a GST is to slowly apply gas and let off the clutch about 3-3500 rpm (on street tires)...get rolling and THEN gas it. If you gas it right off the line you will get nothing but wheel hop and spin. You gotta just find the sweet spot. I do know what you are saying cuz swith most your instant reflex is to just mash the pedal.......
