Thought we would have a daily(well as often as I can...lol) update type of thread. Kind of see what is going on here at Akuma. I will try and keep the thread going with new swag pics and other goodies...some EVO some not...

Our intake with the HKS valve..

 

That's a real nice intake, how much and does it come in polish other than brush aluminum finish?

 

Thanks. The intake kit $229. I can have it powder coated for you at an additional charge($25 - 40 depending on color choice). The intake comes with Nomex couplers and a K/N filter. It is 3" and I think you will find the tunability, fit, and finish are second to none.

We have not needed a heat shield for it. The design keeps the intake from being effected by the fans. One of the benefits of our design.

We finished up the alignment, corner balance, tune and Whiteline goodies on the SSP/AKUMA GTR for the Global Time Attack in Joliet....the Perrin GTX 35R kit is going on one of our builds with a Cosworth block and other goodies. The Z has the Momentum turbo kit we are working on...promo video to follow. The white 2012 GTR has the cage in and our IC pipes going out for powder....The two dogs are Zoe and Herb Dean, our watch dogs.

 

John, great pics keep them coming. I was wondering why the SSP GT-R was there. Are those Volks going on there now?

BTW, thanks again for the great and FAST work you did on our EVO X last Saturday. The race to my daughters dance class ensued afterward, but we got there in time. The car is smoother in the higher rev range like 5k and up with the new diff Fluids. Next is the SST Tranny Fluid. Can you PM me how much that will cost? I guess we wanna use the SSP Gold? not Red?

Oh, and my daughter says to tell Mr. John to say hi to the watch dogs for her. She totally missed them.
