Scion TC (Touring Coupe)
the headlamps looks like the bimer's 745. the rear looks like the tiburon. btw, with the supercharger, it pumps out 200hp? i think it looks ok. but i still love the evo (even tho i dont drive one), and my oz
rear lights especially are tib-ish, but that's what i liked about it!
anybody know if it will be a nationwide release? i know that the first 2 scion vehicles were released only in california, and i haven't seen or heard of any on the east coast (at least here in florida).

Theres alot of the G35 coupe in the lines of that car, not so much in the front but definately in the sides....
I like it, I thinks its much better than the current Celica. (which it is theoretically replacing since the Celica will stop be brought to America soon)

Flipping through this again, the front lights are almost new 5 Series'ish, I like the slab style side paneling, and the backend is definitely Tiburon'ish. If the specs pearl posted are right though, the car weighs just a hair under 3k lbs., and w/ driver, it'd certainly clear it. Not good.
Heeeeey...that's not the Celica's engine! Looks like it spins the opposite way, this engine has the exhaust manifold facing front as opposed to the current (1ZZFE?) one having the intake manifold facing the front. Centrifugal supercharger is nice albeit screw type is more fun. Interior is very nice but missing a bolstered steering wheel, boost gauge, and a center mounted tach, considering it's aimed at the younger enthusiast crowd.
Well, I see "VVT-i" on the valve cover. Its probably the base sedan engine, but that engine is rated in the 160-170hp range. The TRD Supercharger should up output to 200.
Still not enough if you ask me. I say, find a small, RWD coupe, throw in a 1JZ, and call it a day.

I work in the service department of a toyota dealer (in california). They get a lot of scions in, mostly the xB, not as much xA. But I'll be looking forward to 'inspecting' this model.
They might possibly put HID headlights on this model because I've noticed they're putting HID on other models as options.
