STM's 2013 GTR
you say it as if you're describing a civic. "oh, just a stock car"

i mean, obviously im talking to a gear head/shop owner, but, a stock gtr is still, a GTR!

anyway, good luck

Finally had a full Sunday to cruise around, 3 girls in a black GTR, and even got in a pass at the track. I love it.
Emery took the car for four passes, in a row, playing with auto mode and launch control and shifting. His best was an 11.0@124. I gave the car it's fifth run with launch control and auto shift and wound up with a 11.0@125.
Everything stock, show-room factory, right down to the floor mats.
I think if the car had time to cool, or got a better launch, we would have seen that magic number, but I'm pretty happy with a stock 11.0 car

Car #14
My slip is on the right, right lane.
Emery is left, left lane.

Very nice. I'm super jelly! The GT-R's are awesome cars.
I'm excited to see Emery make it LIGHT! I want to see some scaled pics. IIRC they're 3800 pounds with 900 pounds on EVERY tire. Which is better than the Evo! Evo corner weights stock at over 950 on the fronts! The exception is that the GTR can run 335 Hoosiers!!!! waaaaah waaah waah!

What are Emery's plans?

Thanks guys! Ernie, lighter is always better. I'm sure good things are to come. But it seems for every 2 Evo's we get out of the shop... 4 more come in! It's going to be tough to find time to play with this one.
But, we did get the chance to "test the emissions" on the new Cobb 2013 Beta maps...

Not bad gains! We will be working on a STM Y-Pipe design next.
In the meantime, I had a chance to get some Adam's Glaze on it

Congrats on the purchase guys! I have yet to still come around to liking a gtr though lol.
Just dont do what some other shops have one, move into a whole different level of cars and take a **** on evos and dsms.

Don't worry, we will never disown the Evo's... "4g63girl V2" is almost done
But nothing wrong with having a mistress on the side, I guess.

Finally modded! Got the COBB Pro Tuner Software and we are up to 500 TQ along with the new STM Y-Pipe! The Y Pipe really opened up the acoustics of this machine. Just enough to enhance to factory growl without being raspy or harsh. Very smooth sounding.
Next time it's up on the lift I'll get some installed pics!

We are still running the stock cat-back so we needed a 3" outlet for now, but I'm sure we will be getting an exhaust soon enough. I have to be honest though, I really don't know if it could sound much better than it does right now.
