World's 10 Most expensive cities (July 2003)

Though this list is based on business travellers and does fluctuate somewhat... it gives you a good idea of where Seoul is in the world. If someone in NY can own the car, then someone in Seoul can DEFINITELY own it..
I suppose you're right. My exposure to Korea was in Kunsan and Iri, I only saw Seoul 4 times in one year. If you've ever been to Kunsan you'll possibly understand my impression of the ROK.

further proof that it's not in HK: in HK, they drive on the wrong side of the road (well, at least wrong to us). picture looks like they're driving on the right side of the road.

who would pay for a car that ugly?!

[ or maybe its made ugly, so the rich can actually drive it around, without having to worry about it getting stolen based on its flashyness ]

If a Korean came to the U.S. and visited Altus, Arkansas, he would probably wonder if there could be a Maybach in the U.S.

If this happened in the US, the old guy next to the Acura would probably be thinking "Damn, my neck hurts... and my shoulder, too..."

its for sure korea. theres some big ballers there and if koreans got money they go crazy. that maybach owner does not seem very pissed, he's probably the CEO of Samsung or something.

the 62 is the chauffeur-oriented version, while the 57 is the driver-oriented one. I think I'd take the 57.

57 and 62 are the lengths, so not too much longer. Forget the units, though.

Completely understandable.. just like Moscow on that list. Way up there. But from what a friend tells me (obviously native), head out of Moscow, and it changes real fast, just like Korea. In fact, even in Seoul, just walking around, you wouldnt think it would be so expensive. I dont understand it quite myself..
