MR2 turbo, c'mon what's more fun than driving a mid-engine rear-wheel drive car? Just make sure you find one that's in good condition, not the most reliable car in the world.

 

3 series bimmer, Miata, 240sx, MR2, SE-R, 5.0, SVO, modded Honda, Focus, Stealth, GTI, Saab turbo, Celica GT, Contour SVT, Escort GT, Galant VR4, Neon R/T, DSM. An H22 civic wouldn't be much fun (weight distribution) but it would be hella fast & I've seen them pretty cheap.
Check out autotrader. If there's a tuner shop near by they'll know if anything is up for grabs.
