The XT actually has around 240 horspower and don't forget the axle ratios 444:1!

The Subaru website claims only 210hp , but has 235 lb/ft of torque.

And no, you can get it with a 5-speed.

It's standard 5-spd MT, with 4-sp AT optional.

der! odd, I have never seen a MT Forrester XT... probably the same thing as Vettes, availble in MT, but 90% of them are sold as AT. I am glad both the STi & Evo are MT only....

The forrester was tested to run a 1/4 in 13.8 by motortrend or one of the major car magazines. Which is fast as hell for a big stupid half *** sport ute. but they said it still handled like any other forrester.

sloppy and top heavy, just like a drunk chick with implants (just the way i like em)

Anyhoo, I was just randomly starting trouble. One of the NASIOC guys with a 5-speed XT got challenged by a guy with an Evo. The Evo guy offered him a half second head start. Some of the XT's have been running 13.8's in the 1/4...

I do not believe any stock Forrester is running high 13's, maybe with bolt-on's. I cannot wait for one to come play with my Typhoon. I am not running in the 13's though.

I was surpised to see that but I believe that the figure was 14.8. If you looked at the 1-100 and the trap speed that was posted, a 13.8 is impossible with a stock XT

Timeslip of one running 13.9

Only "power mod" was a silencer removal which has been shown to do absolutely nothing to our cars...

It's basically the STi engine, with a 4.44 final drive, and only about 3300 lbs I think. It's not that surprising that it's this fast.
