Car Advice

I am in a pickle at the moment, I am looking for a car when I return home in March to drive from Maryland to my new base (New Mexico). My heart is telling me evo all the way, but I also need to be smart about this. I am wanting something that may get slightly better mileage and be reliable as well. I have considered newer wrxs, civic si & fr-s/brz. I will need a little bit of space because I am going to taking some of my stuff with me.

Any ideas? I will be trading in my 99 gsx because it is not meant for road trips or daily driving really, I'd like something AWD and turbo but it doesn't necessarily have to be both.

Why not stay in the ralliart family and go with a newer one?

That was also a thought I had. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they don't come in manual. Another thing to consider here is I'm only 20 so insurance isn't quite cheap yet (clean record). It would be a daily, not sure how much I'll be driving everyday, I don't think it would be a ton.
