2000 EBP EM1 with 8k miles!
Thankfully I don't have to worry about vandalism or theft in my town... If it's not a muscle car or a pickup truck, no one cares or messes with it... and since I keep them stock, with no BIG sound systems or rather anything inside the cars, they're pretty much left alone.
The clean stock ones are what they pray on around here.

Dude thats one clean Civic.
And that Mileage is unreal!
I wish I could find something this cool over in my state.
I havent met a Civic owner who thinks the stock, clean look is nice.
Except for my friend, but I taught him all he knows about cars.
Dont think it counts...
Anyway congrats on having such a nice car!
Im jelly.

i recall you posting photos or a for sale thread on honda tech a few years back. that si is by far in immaculate condition.
I always wanted one of those back in the day too.... make sure to keep it safe that is by far one of the most stolen hondas around.

I've had a few offers over on the 8th Gen Civic forum for the car... but the offers are what the dealer was selling the car for 3yrs ago...
The only reason I would want to sell it, is that if it ever got stolen, damaged or totaled in an accident, the insurance company would never give me anywhere near close to what the car is truly worth. I'd probably get a check for like 6-7 grand if the car got totaled out. When I can actually sell this car for more than I paid and put into it, I'd consider selling it... I just don't drive it that often for fear of something happening to it... I don't have the fear of theft, because this is a VERY uncommon car in my neighborhood, and no one knows what the car even is...
The car is a blast to look at and reflect, because the condition of it is so rare... it's just as fun to drive as well. A true time piece into the past... it's neat.

I "baby" all my cars. To the point of keeping them clean and detailed, whether it's my Civic, Evo or my DD, an SVT Focus, I keep them all clean and well maintained. I'm just a firm believer of having a well presented automobile. IMO it helps with resale values as well, to purchase a car from an owner who takes car of his/her automobile.
The Civic is clean but far from perfect. The previous owners drove this car and didn't treat it in any special way. Scuffs and scratches in various interior and exterior parts of the car. I've detailed the car and simply used it to drive a manual transmission.
I've contemplated selling it, but have no idea what it's worth is. To a Honda enthusiast it's the holy grail... To me, it's just a nice, clean economy car. It is a fun car, I compare it's enjoyment with my SVT Focus that I DD...
