Lancer History
Everyone's waiting for the EVO 8...
Here's a little history on the car we all want, dream about, drool over... etc.
In 1980 Mitsubishi released the Lancer EX 2000 Turbo(Mitsubishi was known as Colt in the UK), featuring the first generation of the 4G63T.

As you can see, even with a two barrel type carb the 4G63T was able to produce 168bhp @ 5500rpm and 181ft/lbs of torque @ 3500rpm.
We've come a long way since then. If any of you guys are interested, there is more info out there. I'd be happy to provide more info.
