Thats more original than making a coffee table from an old block. So willt he wife let you display it in the house?

 

I had thought about trying to build a bar stool with a flywheel as the base on the floor, then the crank coming up from there, then using everything to make the arm rest ect... But then having to figure out custom padding so you could actually sit in it kinda drove me away from the idea.

 

Id use a whole bunch of cams from the 8 (nobody uses them lol) as legs and bracing then use the flywheel for the top of the bar stool then add a cushion on top of that

 

now that is different.

I thought about collecting stock/used 8/9 engine internals and building two bar stools. Make one like you mentioned above, then the second use my crank idea.... just make them both different. I realized only making one stool would be kinda pointless, atleast 2 would be needed. I'm trying to find parts on the cheap, or for free to do so. Might take awhile but eventually i'll get it done.
