1 – A (True), The Corvette uses Balsa wood in the floor and a transverse leaf spring in its suspension
2 – E, The 1983 Corvette does not exist. Due to quality problems, manufacturing was stopped and a 1983 model year was never released. However, there is a single 1983 model on display at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY.
3 – C, Mercury Marine developed the potent LT-5 that was way ahead of its time for a domestic manufacturer. The V8 included dual overhead cams and other "exotic" technology.
4 – B, (False), The s2000 held the title until the Ferrari 458 Italia arrived packing 123.78 per liter.
5 – D, NASA is a main sponsor of organized road racing events in the country (National Auto Sport Association).
6 – A, The Viper fits some of the widest rear tires available on a production car at 355/30/19/
