We picked it up from the Museum in Kentucky and drove it back to NorCal via Route 66. Awesome car.

Stingray!!!
Yeah, for obvious reasons, you can't get that close to it, but they let you look through a window into the room with a giant hole in the floor. The cars they pulled out are on display, and a testament to the power of the earth.

Nice car. All I hear are good things about the new Corvette Stingray.
Do you still have your evo X?

Yep, parked next to the Stingray in the garage. We're like the only people in San Jose who use their garage to store cars- hence all the sun damage on cars that are over 10 years old here.

Thanks for sharing. That must have been a fun trip home...well, once the break-in period was over!!

This might be blasphemy in these forums, but for the same price, I'd rather get a stock Corvette than an Evo with all the options. Congrats on the purchase!

Drives beautifully too. Also, OEM parts are cheaper than Evo parts. For instance, if the seat leather wears out, it's about $500 for OEM leather replacement covers (per seat). On the Evo you can't order the covers separately from the cushions.Originally Posted by stilletto
