Hey, I'm turning 17 in May 2005, and i was just wondering what car should I get? I want to send from $100-$200 over 60 months. Whichever car it is I will have work done to it. If you can please leave a list of cars you would prefer in my price range. Thank You.
well im payin 191.95 a month for 60 months on my lancer..at 8.9%...****in parents and there **** poor credit screwed me over...
u can get just about any car u want below 9k i suppose.

You wouldn't have many options for a new car. Check out Edmunds.com. Be sure to think about insurance and sales tax.

If you're not buying until May 2005, you might be able to jump into a used Subaru WRX at the upper limit of what you could afford. In your case, I think the best choice would be something that costs less than $5000, so it's cheaper to insure, you can save money for maintenance and repairs, and you have some left over for gradual mods.
Don't strain yourself financially. This is coming from someone who has done that in the past and learned the lesson. You also don't want the car to depreciate faster than you can pay it down. You'll end up upside-down in the car loan (owing more than it's worth).
