I didn't wanna spend $30k + $800 on insurance so I went with the more affordable one for me..

 

You'll enjoy the wrx, specially if you do long drives. I used to have the MY'13 wrx which I traded in for 14 GSR.

 

nope, Subaru does not make any STi's that are tasteful anymore.

 

Plus with ringland failures, no thank you. I know I can make my WRX just as quick as an STi plus were lighter, haha!
