Any trust worthy transportation companies?
Any trust worthy transportation companies?
I want to buy a car from out of state but it's one i've only seen off craigs. Is there any company that I could send money to to buy the vehicle and have it shipped to me?
I just dont want to run the risk of being scammed by an individual seller.
The only reputable company i can find is www.amerifreight.net and they seem to just offer a insured pickup/delivery.
Any help or suggestions?
Thanks

I don't know about the whole "buy the vehicle" part, but I used Intercity Lines to ship my evo from Florida to New York and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Prepare to pay a lot, as they used closed trailers and they ship exotics / classics.
I didn't know how to drive stick at the time, and the driver actually drive the car with me back to my neighborhood

In case you decide to trust your craigslist deal, you can try j&s transportation. I shipped mine from Idaho to Florida with their help. And it's a tricky state to get a car out of. Anyway they were fine, and the price was good
If it's an evo, you could always post in the regional section of the area it's in and ask someone to look at it for you. If it's something else, you could still try, but people might not be as willing.
Intercity is absolutely amazing. They are 100% about quality and I've had a few cars and motorcycles shipped by their team. A bit more expensive, but well worth it if you want your vehicle in prime condition. http://www.intercitylines.com/
