Just read a good amount of that GT-R thread. What a shame, especially to companies that do such good work and do so much for our cars.

 

Thats crazy. I always try to research a good amount before I seriously put my money out there... Sucks that they believed he would keep his word and the amount of people that got burned.

whats the relationship exactly between English and LLR? reading the thread it seams like they just built a few cars for LLR (what kinda shop hires another shop to do their shop builds for them anyway???). And apparently Lucas made an investment into LLR and then got screwed over just like everyone else...

so my question becomes, why would anyone do business with LLR in the first place? Why would you want a middle man between the guy building your car and you

 

LLR isn't a shop, they're a "race team" or at least thats what they labeled themselves as.

 

From what I have read they are a race team and not a shop. Seems more like the guy just hustles people for money on many fronts the more I read

He's in the 10's if not 100's of thousands into people at this point (hard to sort through the BS)

Some of these folks have a lot of money too. I don't see him being in the outside world very much longer. I don't know what goes through folks minds to think you can rip of 10's of thousands from multiple people and nothing will ever become of it
