Well, it is about that time. I have basically test drove all the cars I've considered possiblities for me and done research and polls for months. I beleive I am turning to the dark side my friends. I test drove a rex today and I think that is what I may just go with. I have a decent amount of money saved up and right now in my mind it is b/w the sti and the rex. Now before you go and say get the sti, get the sti hear me out. I have never driven stick on a daily basis. It has always been whenver my friends let me drive their cars. I'm not bad, I am just worried that might be a little too much power for someone who doesn't know stick all that well. Although I have a friend who bought a cobra who couldn't drive stick and still kinda sucks. Another thing is I've really wanted a sunroof on my car for the longest time (don't ask me why). The main reason I'm not going with the evo is b/c of reliablity issues. I've heard way too many horror stories from these forums and friends. Plus I think I want a few creature comforts (not bad mouthing the evo at all). So now at this moment I have about 16k I can put down. In 2 months I'll have b/w 18 - 20. I respect the srt's power, but 1. I don't trust the reliablity of them and 2. I despise the looks of the interior and sides. I like the creature comforts of the wrx (sunroof, heated seats), but it would just be so cool to open up the garage door and see the sti badge and big ole' wing staring back at me. One last thing, this car is going to have to serve as a daily driver and I drive about 300 miles a week for work alone(about 60 miles a day). So please give me your best regards and/or reasons why I should get the wrx or the sti. Oh and a buddy of mine that works at another dealership said he might be able to get me a great deal on the sti so I'll give a few different choices in the poll, but please give me your opinions.

Every high performance car is going to have reliability issues. Not sure I'd push the Evo and SRT out of consideration solely on that basis. Regarding the manual tranny, you'll learn it soon enough.
As for which to get, well, based on your circumstances I think I'd get a used Accord or something for your drive to work, and the WRX as your toy. Doesn't seem logical to buy a new sports car and put 15,000 miles of commuting distance on it.
