I don't understand this technology. At what point have we gotten so lazy that we don't want to drive ourselves any longer?

I think its more to fix the non driving bastards in my way every day than being lazy.

The highlighting of different variables seems like something I could appreciate. I don't really ever want to have to car out of my control though at any point.

look at the bright side of this.
Do you realize that fact, more people will drive these cars more the left lane will be car free? not one will pass the speed limit either. So as soon as they lined up on a high way and reached the maximum cruising speed, our lane will be WIDE OPEN.

i am all for the selfdriving cars. Those people will buy them most likely who never actually in any circumstances belongs behind the wheel anyway.

I'm perfectly okay with self-driving cars. They will probably keep some of the bad drivers from wrecking into us

Great way to make old cars worth more to spirited and more than normal or wreckless drivers.

On second thought I guess reckless drivers and elderly drivers could use something like this to make the roads safer.

this is scary stuff. it doesnt really matter weather people want this or not. if it makes roads safer insurance companies alone will push this to fruition. cant imagine enjoying driving a car that drives the speed limit all the time. gonna be a dull world.

It'll be a long time before everyone has one though. They can't make you get a self drive car, most people can't afford new cars let alone with this technology. It'll be an option, but i can't see it mandatory.
