I doubt the 360hp Evo would lose to a stock M3 also..

but:

Hello you're comparing 0-60 times of 5.5 vs 4.8... small 4 cylinder vs I6 of instant power.. 227hp vs 333.. and the weight difference is not that big... stock vs stock, no way in hell WRX will beat an M3.

 

FYI my 0-60 is about 4.6

 

Like I said, your Evo 5 vs M3 will be a close race (0-60 of just .2 seconds is no big deal)

 

It's not on a track where it's been prepped. The race is on the street. You really think an M3 can ran really do 0-60mph in 4.8sec on the street. 4.8sec was on a prepped track and a pro driver with several times to accomplish that 4.8. It doesn't take too much skill(in the WRX) to rev up to 5k rpm and drop the cluth or slipping it. Oh, since were quoting some of the best times, WRX's(stock) can do 5.2sec 0-60mph on the street and at the track.
