Just kidding! This is the real deal. Engine and drivetrain built by a buddy of mine and in amazing shape with more horsepower than anyone needs. I am excited to be back in the evo game after about a 12 year hiatus.

good job- how hard was registration?

 

Was not that bad. The VIN always throws off the computer systems, forcing people to have to fill out paperwork manually. The car was already titled here, so that made it much easier. I did have to go to a Currency Exchange though as all the DMVs are closed here in Illinois.

Really excited to be back at it again.

Absolutely. Has a custom manifold created by my buddy and custom intake routing. It's pretty nice. I am going to be uninstalling the Python alarm that came with the car from Japan though. And, yes, I know I need to clean my air filter.

 

thats a beauty, reminds me of my rhd gc8. light weight and very fun with about 250hp.
