if your gonna go fwd...I'd say look for a volkswagen gti 337 or the anniversary edition (w/ the 1.8t of course) definitely the sweetest fwd car. Ive seen some siiiiiiick lookin ones on ebay. there was a nice silver 337 w/ rolled fenders and wide mesh style 17in wheels. nice lip to boot.

im thinkin of getting a used wrx, waiting for the dealership to give me some good low 18 high 17k numbers. Both cars have 37k and 38k miles on em, so thats not bad. Plus i tried to get a used evo, but 25k plus my pay off of the lancer have me in bankrupt . Honestly get a used wrx, factory turbo... and you can mod it to hell, and AWD. RSX is nice, but doesnt have that turbo or awd that the wrx has.

^^^ nice, very nice... honestly its exterior is killing the comp. It looks sooooo dam luxarious. I see alot of them daily and i drool at the ex/interior of the vechile. The headlights and taillights are soooo ****in dope, if it came turboed for a lil over 20k and about 230 at the fly, id buy it no joke!!! Still its only 160hp, but you can get a base for a lil under 14. Still wrx or rsx has more "whoa" appeal.

honestly, you dont NEED ITR (Integra Type R); the ONLy difference between the reg and R is that the R has lil bit better intake, exhaust, and the ecu is programmed to inject bit more gas...if you're really into performance, get pre95 prelude, 2000ish SI (the coupe one, not the hatch), 98-01 Integra LS, or WRX...they have unlimited potential...and whoever said RSX, you need to learn about cars; you have no idea how small the headers are...even if you shove in intake and exhaust, the car wont go much faster compared to civics and other cars i mentioned cuz the headers wont really complement the mods...you need to invest heavily for RSX

i also heard positive things about 300ZX TT...other than that I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with Nissans....as for Supra, well the name says it all, but honestly they're really overpriced and 99% of em aren't stock...sides, they have torque at the high end, but you dont really need torque on high end (unless you're in nascar or something)....so totally up to you, just giving you my opinion

Not correct, the ITR has a different head than the GSR. Out of the mention cars I would stick with the WRX or a Supra. SRT-4 is a sweet ride but compared to the other two, the FWD comes up lacking. What about a 97-99 Eclipse GSX?

OMFG i wrote about a whole frekaing page, disproving 2mix9900....ugh anyways nobody would have cared, u dont know ANYTHING about the Type R, or the RSX(even though i dislike them)
Hey, 2Mix9900 what do u drive anyways? have u ever driven or owned any of those cars u mentioned???

PGMIKE, im not saying type R becasue i have one...i dont even own one(stolen 2 times, even with lo-jack) i have a "3 series" bimmer
anyways, if i was given a choice to buy a used car..i would NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER buy another type R except id probably spend $3000 on security this time, and take out the ecu every time i park
that is such a precious car, u can part out ****ing EVERY SINGLE INCH of that car and i really mean that, its a gold mine to theives, they only made about 5000 in the whole US since it was released in 97-01, but it wasnt here in 99....theres only couple thousand left due to thefts.....and couple hundred were totalled...if u dont believe me go to honda-tech.com, there is a new post every week about another type R stolen

Agreed. People underestimate VWs so much, but this car could whoop evo's for less Only problemo is they aren't AWD. So it just depends on if you want to be good at launching, or what.

I'd go with a GTI, it's a very nice ride. Whoever said Supra.. I have a hard time believing you could get one for under $18k. Every since Fast n' Furious, the markup on those things has been insane. Also, I thought the ITR was also known for its handling and suspension setup?
