My name is Kevin...I worship and LOVE the EVO (preferably a Evo 6)..but own and enjoy Galants.Though no longer my project car...this is my previous Galant. Its a 1995 Mitsubishi Galant automatc. Me and this car has been through ALOT...but after several years trying to be "fast"..I decided to go turbo about 2 years ago. Well...due to hard times and bad luck..the project prolonged and never seemed it would be done. Well...at the end of last year, I went to house sit for my parents for a couple of months and well...the place where I used to live where I had my car garaged was broke into and well..$700+ of motor parts and engine managment items stolen and my car vandalized beyond worth of repair. I gave up with it...gutted out what I can salvaged from the car and recovered what I lost $$$ wise..and now the 1995 Galant sits in a salvage yard. I gave up...contiplated in getting a Evo, but I didn't want car payments and I had already spent good money and time on building up my once SOHC 4g64 to a DOHC 4g64. My g/f knew how much I wanted to get my Galant project done...so for Valentines day, she found me a 5 speed 1996 Galant in very good condition for $2500. My 96 Galant is my new project car...finishing building the motor and hoping to find someone to help me hack the harness to accomidate DOHC and turbo setup. Just wanted to introduce myself to this board which I find very great to visit ...definitely seems like good people here.
