actually the Hyundai rally cars here in the US are EVO's underneath. Now they have some WRX rear end components.
Untill this year they were all EVO IV, even the engine said Mitsu on it. The current SCCA rules required them to put Hyundai stamp on it. check you www.hyundaiusa.com for some vids.

That is the damn goofiest thing I've ever seen. Why oh why? Great...this is the last thing we need to see. "Well if the race team can put it into an Accent, why can't I put it into my Lancer/Civic/VW Bus?" And I'd respond with the fact that it probably cost more than your car did. Eesh.
