well, it makes intake work easier, (ie, if i were to do some custom intake manifold, or throttlebody) to get to. Also, when someone actually gets their *** in gear, the header will be easier to build/install.

I personally like it. The intake is in the front, where cold air from the grille can help cool it, while all the hot stuff stays back behind.. I wish i had a better shot of under the hood, but i don't.. anyway, toyota designed the intake manifold with the runners all the same length. this means each cylinder gets the same air mass at the same time.. Hondaboys always ask why i have a header up front LOL.

looks like your cone is still sucking hot air near the header though. no advantage seen.

The new Honda K's have the intake manifold in front. The 4 banger Volkswagens do the same thing as well I'm pretty sure.

it depends on the direction the engine turns doesn't it? clockwise vs counter clockwise? just guessing here.

That's actually the best iguess why and makes sense on the ficticious blueprinted block in my head. Good call. It's still a rare sight for the most part, I think was the general idea though.

Not my preference, nonetheless it's a very nice car and you should be proud.

Not to shabby actually. Are those stock Celica wheels or some sort of TRD variant?
