now, its common knowledge that i have wanted an evo for a very long time now, and i am now about 1 paycheck away from being debt free (FINALLY!). i have an 02 lancer OZ which i'm about 3 grand upside down in (never do deferred car payments... EVER). for a long time i was thinking about trading it in and getting an evo, but recently i began looking at bikes again.
and there she is, in all her beauty. that bike is just hot, and looks even better in person. i figure, might as well keep the lancer and start doubling up on the payments to get rightside up in it. in the meantime, i can get a bike for a really low monthly payment and enjoy living single at the university of florida with a hot ride and a decently nice car to back it up.
so what do you all think?
hey derrick i jsut bumped into pete on saturday or sunday and e told me you were thinking of buying an r6. i say go for it. screw teh evo. this way you have two vehivles and the biek will be fasster than the evo and girls will liek it more.

haha, yeah, that's pretty much how i'm feeling. plus, if money ever gets tight, i can sell one and keep the other. if i had an evo i'd be screwed for sure. not to mention mad insurance and more expensive upkeep and mods.
and to be truthful most people i know in gville think evos are pretty stupid looking. plus you can ride with pete if you get hte bike adn you arent too crazy so you wont me killing yourself.

the r1 for a first bike? then i would kill myself. i WANT the r1, but that will have to wait.
and mike... pete is looking to either sell or trade his bike so we are both gonna buy new at the same time. he's looking at a z1000 i think.

seriously! it cracks me up when people say stuff like that, or how many times i heard "you shoulda got the evo" to my lancer. if it was out in 02 and i had the money than i would of! as for the r1...
i should have never sat on that thing. a lot like the r6 really but the under-seat exhaust is HOT. maybe in a few years for my next bike.

he got an apmt recently, so he doesn't have as much money for a bike. he's renting a 2 bedroom by himself because he needed the space and it worked out better that way. he'll get the ducati once the company goes public i'm sure... of course IF and when it does, he could by 10 ducati's if he wanted to. and maybe then i can get the MR!

I used to have a used 888 SPS. Thing was a dream, if not also a complete maintenance nightmare. But I'll never own another bike again as long as I live. Why?
Every other driver on the road.
The amount of people yakking on their phones or fixing their hair wandering into your lane, not noticing you patiently waiting at a stoplight. Cutting you off. Or just plain not looking and nearly turning into you. I had the living daylights scared out of me because of what nearly happened while the bike was motionless.
If this is your first bike, you may wish to reconsider. Hate to be a downer, but it's not safe to have them anymore, because no one else out there is paying a lick of attention.

acctually if you like under tail exhaust and want the most advanced 600cc sport bike on the market i would suggest the cbr600rr it has some of the most advanced features of any other bike currently out.
