ya that to, im set on 18'' wheels, stuck cant decide between some Volks, 5zigen or Enkei. Whatever wheel i choose will be in Bronze

larger wheels will not fill the wheel gap... it will only accentuate it...

i think the 3 is a really nice car and a real bargain for the standard equipment...

but you should probably just drop it and do the rims...

if he put larger rims and tires that were larger in diameter than stock it would. not just getting larger rims and then lopro tires, that would just keep the same diameter as stock.

im also a proud owner of a mazda 3 i have a hatch back...... we aalso have the kenstyle kit for it selling in hawaii and believe the price ish rediculess

doing what you suggested is about the worst advice you can give someone...

why would he want to make his overall rolling diameter larger...? not only will it throw the speedo off, it will also negatively affect, handling, acceleration AND braking...

well im not about to get some 22 pounds rims, if anything the heavyist rims i was looking at was 18 pounds, and im looking at getting some 16 pound ones. My stock wheel (not including the tire) weights in at 22 pounds. So braking and accerleration wouldnt decrease but rather increase. Yes probably not by a whole lot but still.

i did not suggest he do that. im jsut saying thats anohter way too fill the wheel gap. dont know if he really cares about performance. there are lots of ppl that take this route. sorry if you dont understand.

Got my eyelids today, raining outside now, so ill try to post pics tommrow. What is the best way to hold eyelids on? Strong Double sided tape? Thanx

i think that is what most ppl do, but i dont know if that would make them stick out too much. are they already painted the color of your car?
