Angry Tail light problem

Whenever it is humid, my rarely used Eclipse Euro tail lights get fogged up on the inside and it looks really bad...Is there any way to prevent/stop this from happening? Please help..

Do the plastic bulb bases have little o-rings or gaskets on them to help seal them? You might want to check your other bulbs as well to see if they're not sealing well when installed in the bulb opening. If there's a gap, you're going to get moisture in there.

A much more remote possibility is that there's a hairline fracture along the seam where the colored part of the lens assembly is glued to the back plastic part. If it persists you may want to take out all the bulbs and pull the assembly off the car to have a look.

I had an old Ford that did this. I pulled it off and filled it with distilled water and let it sit. Sure enough water was seeping out from a lens edge that was separating. I dabbed some silicone outdoor caulk along that edge (and all the others) - problem gone.

My friend and I are trying to figure out how to take the back pieces off of his 95 Eclipse right now to install his euros and are kinda stuck. Could someone post help on how to unattach the stuff. One side just came off easily by pulling, but the other we broke the thing off by pulling way too hard. Brute force I guess We'll probably already have it done by the time someone posts, plus I didn't bother to check how old this thread was, but who knows...
