Question ??Mitsubishi Outlander??

Guys,
I will probably get a Mitsubishi Outlander soon. I would like to know about any suspension parts from the Lancer that would work on the outlander, since both share platforms. Probably not springs because of difference in weight but maybe the rear sway bar. Also it has the 2.4 lt. galant/eclipse engine. Are there any performance mods for the galant/eclipse engine that would work on the little sport ute? Rock @ RoadRace, any help would be appreciated.

the outlander does use the 4g64 just like the galant/eclipse use but, the intake manifold and a few other things are different

remember the 4g64 is a detuned version.

I'm sure it will fit, but mine main concern is Mitsu using the tranny off the 3g ecilpse (starter on the tranny) or the mirage/lancer's (starter on the block). Big difference!

I forgot to specify that my Outlander will definitely be FWD. Here in PR as of now Motsubishi is not importing the AWD version. I prefer FWD because of weight savings.

I forgot to mention that my father owns a Mitsubishi dealership here in Puerto Rico. I have to wait for the next shipment to arrive for my silver Outlander. The one we had was sold yesterday. Anyway, I would like to modify it but only things that I could remove when it went to be sold, maybe a 50 shot of NOS jejeje, since it will be a company car.

Hey SWIFT1 any chance of seeing some pictures of your neighbors Outlander with the rims?

I'm not a big fan of the Outlander design.
I finally saw one on the road and have to say that in real life the three quarter view actually looks quite decent.
Enloy your new ride evoVI_pr.

I hate the tail lights... that'll probably be my wife's ride. Me like em. Like em alot. Actually beat out our first choice, the MP5. Still, by the time we actually get a car, the new Lancer wagon should be out.

I do love those Protege 5's... The Outlander seems like it has more ground clearance and room though if you're into that sort of thing.
